Ms. Wigmore Álvarez has held senior and executive level management positions in international firms in both the United States and Spain. She has extensive experience in the creation and development of international companies and organizations in a wide variety of industries, on varying aspects of their business development in Spain.

Furthermore, she regularly conducts courses on "Doing Business in Spain", cross-cultural training and advanced business communication for foreign executives in Spain at multinational companies such as NextEra Energy España, Johnson & Johnson Medical, Abbott Laboratories, Westinghouse, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Danone, Berlitz, Cisco Systems, etc.

Originally from the United States, Ms. Wigmore Álvarez holds an International MBA from the IE Business School (Instituto de Empresa), as well as an undergraduate degree in Hispanic Studies and International Economics from Wheaton College in Massachusetts (U.S.). She is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the School of Economics and Management Science, ETEA- Universidad de Córdoba, in the “Planning, Management and the Socio-Economic Environment of Businesses” Doctoral program.

A seasoned Spanish <> English translator and interpreter, Ms. Wigmore Álvarez is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is completely at ease with international and Spanish business practices, serving as an effective liaison between businesses and contacts in various countries. She assists clients in successfully conducting business with their counterparts, focusing especially on cross-cultural differences and strategies.

Antonio M. Álvarez

Antonio M. Álvarez is Co-founder and Partner of Wigmore & Álvarez.

Mr. Álvarez has extensive experience in teaching Spanish for Foreigners and Spanish business protocol in both the U.S. and Spain. As Director of the Spanish for Foreigners Department, he personally teaches professional and executive-level students from companies such as Repsol YPF, CLH, Davis Polk & Wardwell, NextEra Energy España, Smart Telecom, Visual Tools, The American School of Madrid, Enbridge, The Japan Bank for International Cooperation and Delta Airlines, amongst others. Furthermore, he teaches summer courses in Spanish for all levels in Massachusetts, U.S.

Originally from Spain, Mr. Álvarez holds graduate degrees in teaching Spanish for Foreigners from both International House in Madrid and Les Heures- Universitat de Barcelona, as well as an undergraduate degree in Labor Relations from the Universidad de Córdoba (Spain). He is also a seasoned translator and proofreader in the English <> Spanish language combination.

Mr. Álvarez is bilingual in Spanish and English, with highly acclaimed Spanish language teaching skills and methodologies amongst the international business community in Spain.
