Simultaneous Interpreting
Simultaneous interpreting is most appropriate for events attended by a multilingual audience (meetings, conferences, courses, congresses, etc.) and during which a fluid, simultaneous level of communication is required. This type of interpreting generally requires the presence of at least two interpreters per language combination. Each interpreter translates the speech for the benefit of the audience and with minimal delay. Given that simultaneous interpreting takes place in sound-proof booths, the interpreters' physical presence is not perceived by the speaker or the audience. Each listener is supplied with a headset in order to follow the speech in the preferred language.

Consecutive Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is most appropriate for press conferences, diplomatic meetings, courses, product or service presentations, etc. This type of interpreting is less demanding in technical terms than simultaneous interpretation and is most frequently used during meetings with a small number of participants. The consecutive interpreter takes notes and interprets for the speaker without the use of a headset at varying intervals (between five and twenty minutes).

Liaison Interpreting
A liaison interpreter acts as a “linguistic bridge” between people who speak different languages and who often come from different cultures. During a liaison interpreting service, an interpreter translates/interprets during business meetings or informal meetings for a small number of people, often accompanying members of a company and their clients on visits to business premises, companies, facilities, etc. Liaison interpreting is ideal for courses, foreign visits and tradeshows.
